Anthony is survived by his wife of 65 years, Norma Moen Higgins; daughter, Toni Moriarity and husband Tim, of North Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Alan Higgins and wife Debbie of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; Daughter Julie McCarthy of Charlotte, NC; Grandchildren includes Natalie Newell, Karen Britton, Chris Higgins, Evan Higgins, and Dillon McCarthy; Great-grandchildren, James Britton, and Addison Higgins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
