BoJack goes to talk to Diane, but Diane tells him that her therapist doesn't want her to talk to him. She has had the epiphany "[she] is all of the Dianes" and Mr. Peanutbutter is really good for her. He asks her if she's okay because the other night she left his party crying. Mr. Peanutbutter then tells BoJack he's playing Julius Caesar on the stage next door for a short film. Mr. Peanutbutter then says he went to college in Chicago and Diane tells him Northwestern is not in Chicago. BoJack says he understands what it's like to have guilt bottled up inside you, and not burden other people with it. Todd reluctantly agrees. Salinger pitches and idea for a game show to Wanda at MBN, where Hollywoo stars and celebrities answer questions and the audience finds out what they know and if they know things. Jessica yells at Mr. Peanutbutter for not keeping the mummy away, while also revealing she auditioned to play the actual mummy as she storms off. She goes on to say Mr. Peanutbutter can't do hurtful things anymore because it's not OK. He has one brother, Captain Peanutbutter, who is five minutes older. Todd says he's tired that BoJack walks over everybody, but still gets what he wants, as something BoJack did that involved Emily that made her leave Cabracadabra. All this speech ended up becoming empty when Diane invites PB to sleep with her. It was also shortly before BoJack went to rehab. Although, every time she made this clear to Mr. Peanutbutter he would either acknowledge her feelings but get distracted by an event and leave to join, or try to distract her by having her or suggesting she talk to the other attendants like BoJack. When Pickles asks how can they make things right, Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. Mr. Peanutbutter then gets back in the car and BoJack tells him he wants to go back to prison as he doesn't feel like he can be around people. After Woodchuck says during a press conference that if a state senator was willing to actually petition for an amendment to the constitution that would democratically allow him to bid his governor title on a ski race, then he would accept the challenge. Todd takes Mr. Peanutbutter to the baddest bar in Hollywoo, where the paparazzi birds are waiting outside. and runs upstairs to the bedroom crying. Diane tries to bring up Captain Peanutbutter again when she's in bed with Mr. Peanutbutter, telling him he should talk to his brother because something is going on with him. Bojack gets psyched and sees this as an opportunity to chase Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter tells them that's great seeing that's just what they wanted. He says they are both two equally accomplished book writers. Mr. Peanutbutter challenges Woodchuck to a ski-race, where the winner will be named governor. All the while Diane forced herself to pretend to support her husband. A teenage Todd and his friends try to trick-or-treat at BoJack's house, but Princess Carolyn turns them away, motivating them to cover the place in toilet . He says things like they'll all die one day, and it's cruel to let people love you because you're just promising one day you'll break their hearts. Wanda tells him in a threatening tone that this is network television, so all their show's problems must be wrapped up in under half an hour, and the people want resolution. BoJack is deflated, but Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally mentions afterward Todd's desire to not nominate BoJack and ends the conversation by promising him "none of this matters" and leaving. Soon, the hatred that the cast and crew held for Mr. Peanutbutter quickly turns into pity. In Our A-Story is a "D" Story, he seems to be jealous/concerned of BoJack and Diane bonding, the former of whom denies he has anything to worry about. Princess Carolyn meanwhile begins contacting a landscaper. Mr. Peanutbutter later calls Diane, who is in Ojai with BoJack, very early in the morning. Mr. Peanutbutter tries to be tough with them, shoving them into some trash cans, but actually cures them of their ailments. Following the phone call, Mr. Peanutbutter immediately contacts Princess Carolyn, in seek of assistance. He goes on to say you think you are protecting them, but it comes out in other ways, and it infects everything. In Surprise!, after he takes advice from Diane, who was pretending to be his houses thermostat, Mr. Peanutbutter makes more of an effort to talk less and listen more while trying to reconcile with Pickles. She tells him they should leave, but BoJack is frustrated because he thinks she's acting weird since she hates parties. She tells him as Diane can live her life whole life like pieces of a puzzle from different sets. Mr. Peanutbutter says that hes not sad hes happy and everybody knows that. Mr. Peanutbutter goes into the bar. However, Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally says that he still has feelings for Diane. Mr. Peanutbutter continues on to say he knows when he was in a relationship with Diane he wouldn't really listen to her and he apologizes for that. After this, he calls Diane and tells her he's really proud of her that she's in Cordovia doing great things. Diane is still upset about BoJack, but Mr. Peanutbutter assures her that he won't even remember that he met her. Paige questions about the boy. Princess Carolyn approaches Mr. Peanutbutter and asks if it's just her or does seem that the cast and crew have really turned on him. He approaches a rhino smoking a cigarette and tries to get in his face, and he tries his cigarette away. Mr. Peanutbutter cant remember why, but hes certain the payoff will be huge. Princess Carolyn reminds him of this. When Princess Carolyn tries to leave, Mr. Peanutbutter asks her if she wants to keep hanging out, and pitches her movie ideas inspired by greeting cards. Mr. BoJack tries to give her a compliment, but Diane's response is taken the wrong way. The two drive home, acting awkward about talking about the baby, although they had always agreed that they didn't want kids. Diane felt pressured to act like she loved parties and socializing and to live up to his "fun" ex-wives, insisting to Mr. Peanutbutter she was having fun when he asked if she was OK. A bitter Katrina tells him while he was gone, Ben Stein introduced her to Tim Allen. She gets a call from BoJack who complains about having to learn five pages of dialogue, and about how everyone on set has their attention on Mr. Peanutbutter when they're supposed to like him/Philbert because he's the star. Mr. Peanutbutter finishes the movie and sees that he has ninety-eight missed messages.
